After spending over two million dollars to develop the system, it has been released to the market.
I have not been with a customer yet who has not shown great interest in all or parts of the iQS system. The response so far has been absolutely incredible, says General Manager of iQubeS John Klemetsen jr.
The system consists of several modules that interact and are easy to use. The system is developed with Microsoft's latest technology (SharePoint), and can be integrated with other applications in use by your company.
Transferred from direct oil business to support
John Klemetsen jr. John Klemetsen jr. has worked 20 years in the oil industry, where he has developed systems business management for a major service company. One of the main goals of the iQS system is to help companies to learn from, and capture the experience gained, and to use information from previous projects. By storing all data in a common system, the whole company at any time have access to historical data, and correct and updated information.
- When important decisions are made it must be based on the latest available information. It is therefore crucial that all relevant information reaches out to all relevant persons. In this system, employees will receive information via email, SMS, or via "my page". It is incredibly important that decisions are made based on correct information and that information and decisions are accessible to all, says Klemetsen.
The system makes it easy to track customer projects and track equipment down component level and associated certificates.
– Most of what the different companies in various industries need to run the business, is taken care off in the iQS system. If our customers have specific needs, we can easily tailor-make the system for them, Mr. Klemetsen says.
Need people
The Company is well established, and have a constant need for more qualified employees. We need to provide service 24 hours a day, says Klemetsen.
Today, they are established in 2 different locations in India, and do most of the programming from there.
– He thinks it's really exciting to be involved in building up an IT company. The ambition of the IT Company is that within five years the turnover is 50 million NOK.
